In honor of Cupcake Day (which was actually yesterday) the kids and I decided to make chocolate cupcakes. Yes! There really is a day named Cupcake Day. I guess in NYC and places back east all of the famous little cupcake shops gave away a free cupcake to celebrate this day. Which is quite a sweet gift considering the fact that when I was in New York, with my sister and mom, we paid about $4.00 for a delicious cupcake. It was worth every penny.

Mmm, Cupcake Day! What a great holiday! We'll definitely have to celebrate it next year!
We need to start a group to make this day more official. So fun!! I will have to remember that for next year.
Jason and I walked miles and miles in New York just to get a cup cake and it turns out they were all dry and not very good! I want to be in the group that celebrates this day! :)
