Handicapped Parking

People who don't think this sign applies to them really, really annoy me!!!

I will update my blog about this past week in the next few days, but Maddie is doing great!!!

I had to remind my SIL (she has a son in a wheelchair) that not all people LOOK like they qualify. My mom for years had a tag, but she had a catheder in her heart and a lot of unseen medical issues. Though I do KNOW that many abuse the spaces...some you just can't tell they really do need it.

We used to have a neighbor whose granddaughter was permanently in a wheelchair and lived with them. One day, when the girl was in school, I saw the neighbor pull into a handicap space, hop out of the handicap van and go into the craft store. She would have been embarrassed if she knew I'd seen her. (For those curious children, she lived next to Smiths and her name started with A.)
